Carpet & Floor Cleaners in Lewisham & Greenwich

Our local coverage in and around the Lewisham (SE13) & Greenwich (SE10) areas includes Deptford, plus nearby Blackheath (SE3), Hither Green and Catford (SE6).

For Your Business or Home

We specialise in bigger maintenance contracts: churches, mosques and temples; company offices and other commercial premises; gyms and leisure centres; schools and nurseries; restaurants and bars. But please do get in touch if the carpets or floors in your shop or residential property need attention. Our industrial-grade machines and attachments make fast work of domestic jobs – even deep cleaning.

A Professional Carpet Care Service

Ensure the longest possible lifespan for your carpets by having them professionally cleaned at the right time. We use tried and tested, highly effective methods to get rid of dirt that slowly builds up as well as more noticeable stains from spills or other accidents. For a detailed explanation of the main methods used on carpets (including shampooing), and to find out which ones we’d advise, click here.

Our carpet cleaning machinery includes:

  • motorised ‘Power Wand’ attachment – for the most effective dirt and stain removal;
  • variable pressure cleaning – up to 400 PSI for tough cleaning without damaging delicate fibres;
  • very long (30m/100ft) hose – we can clean many properties without bringing our machine any further than just inside/outside;
  • 52 litre solution & 40 litre dirty water tanks – less filling and emptying, even on large jobs;
  • powerful suction for faster drying – dual motors for standard/delicate or double/industrial strength extraction.

WoolSafe-approved Detergents for Cleaning, Sanitising & Disinfecting

We use only the best quality cleaning products to remove dirt and stains, kill germs, and deodorise carpets. No matter the fabric, no matter the need, we have the correct detergent.

Professional Upholstery & Furniture Cleaning

In a family home the living room often serves as the dining room, exposing fabric in your furniture to spills and stains from food and drink. Our high quality equipment and carefully tested cleansers will extract these. Materials like leather or wool can be damaged – or even ruined – by amateur attempts at cleaning with the wrong products. With decades’ experience as a trade detergent supplier, we know what works and what doesn’t. If you’re in the care sector, be sure to talk to us about disinfection and sanitising.

We Don’t Recommend Steam Cleaning or (Dry) ‘Shampooing’

The textiles typically used in a couch or sofa are not made to withstand steam (boiling water vapour). The very slight amount of dry shampoo powder compound that remains after cleaning is tacky (by design, that’s how it works), and dust will be drawn to it. Extraction rinse detergents, on the other hand, are designed to repel dirt.

Driveway & Patio Washing

A wet drive, patio or deck can quickly become a slippery surface to walk on if organic waste and moisture-loving plants are allowed to take over. We have the equipment (and, if we have to use them, the detergents) to quickly scour your external flooring and restore firm and safe footing.

We will always try to use nothing but cold water and tough brush scrubbers to clean an outside or garden area. Very bad soiling and/or fibrous weeds can’t be removed without either strong acidic/akaline detergents (these can pose a threat to local plant life and animals), or steam cleaning (no chemicals used, but more expensive).

Wood is not the only material that will degrade under soggy conditions. Many types of stone are porous and will benefit from sealing, which preserves by helping to stop lichen and moss build up.

Hard Floor Servicing & Care

Hard floors are made from tough materials: marble and other stone, hardwoods, vinyl / linoleum. However, they usually need maintenance to look their best and stay in good condition. We’ve invested in heavy duty professional machinery to service contracts for bigger businesses such as factories, office blocks and sports complexes. We can also be booked to carry out hard floor cleaning jobs for smaller businesses like restaurants, as well as domestic properties.

The vinyl tiles in this combined shop / office facility in Catford had some real problem areas. Most of these we were able to fix, but one or two proved to be too far gone. Call us earlier rather than later! Note how the polish enhances the colour of even a grey floor.

Professional Hardwood Floor Cleaning & Polishing

Hardwood floors can be very sensitive to liquids if they don’t have an effective seal. Proper cleaning and a properly maintained wax or polish finish will ensure a surface that will resist spills and stains. Our services range from buffing (removing light soiling with a soft pad to restore the shine), chewing gum and other problem substance removal, to complete refinishing and rescue projects for long-neglected wood floors.

A varnished engineered panel hallway in a Hither Green flat had become rather grey. The finish was too ingrained with dirt to clean, so we stripped it away, unlocking the original vibrant colours of the wood (Oak) grain. A light ‘floor maintainer’ detergent was then applied and worked into the floor with a soft pad to create a light protective seal.

Marble, Slate & Stone: Cleaning, Buffing/Polishing

From simple tasks like grout sealing or buffing/shining and everyday maintenance cleaning to paint, gum or oil removal and even full restoration including diamond polishing, we look after all kinds of stone or tiled floors.
