Why You Shouldn’t Use Steam Cleaning or (Dry) ‘Shampooing’
Superheated steam is chemical-free, but there are a lot of furniture fabrics (and even more prints or dyes) that will be marred by its use. Dry shampoos that can be sprinkled, brushed and vacuumed leave a very slight residue, and dust will continue to cling to this after cleaning. In the long term, they encourage soiling. Hot water extraction detergents are formulated to do the exact opposite, to keep your upholstery cleaner for longer.

We normally use scrubbing machines and water pressure only.
