For Your Business or Home

Our industrial-grade machines mean we can take on commercial contracts for professional companies such as gyms, schools or nurseries, office blocks, places of worship, restaurants and pubs, and student halls of residence. We’re also pleased to quote for smaller jobs in shops and take-aways, houses, shared accommodation and flats. Even deep carpet or floor cleaning can be completed in far less time than you might imagine, because of the range of professional equipment we have put together.

A Professional Carpet Care Service

If you find that odours or stains are building up on your carpets then it’s time to call in a professional cleaning company. It’s sometimes surprising just how much the appearance of a carpet can change (not just the colour, but also the feel underfoot) when years of low level grime are removed. How does it work? We look at the pros and cons of the main techniques (including shampooing) here.

Our carpet cleaning machinery includes:

  • motorised ‘Power Wand’ attachment – for the most effective dirt and stain removal;
  • variable pressure cleaning – up to 400 PSI for tough cleaning without damaging delicate fibres;
  • very long (30m/100ft) hose – we can clean many properties without bringing our machine any further than just inside/outside;
  • 52 litre solution & 40 litre dirty water tanks – less filling and emptying, even on large jobs;
  • powerful suction for faster drying – dual motors for standard/delicate or double/industrial strength extraction.

Professional Upholstery & Furniture Cleaning

Even if you avoid accidents, the fabric in your sofa and other furniture gradually absorbs dirt and oils from the air in your home. We’ve invested in top quality equipment and motorised attachments to keep your upholstery looking and smelling fresh. Whatever the materials used in your home furnishings – from widely used ones such as cotton or polyester, to more expensive ones like leather or suede – we know the correct product for the job. Cleaning can be combined with disinfecting / sanitising.

Our Advice is to Avoid Steam Cleaning or (Dry) ‘Shampooing’

Steam (from boiling water) is not recommended for cleaning furniture: it can damage not just the look but also the durability – permanently. Nor is ‘dry’ shampooing, because the ever so slightly tacky finish that remains on cloth fibres attracts dust faster. We usually advise hot water extraction.

Driveway & Patio Washing

Dirt and grime (both natural and man-made) can quickly accumulate on outdoor flooring and other surfaces. Contact us to restore the appearance of your front driveway, patio, paving or decking and fencing.

We prefer to use 100% eco-friendly pressure and/or power washing without chemicals to ‘leave no trace’. Cold water jets and bristle brushing (with a machine) is usually enough, but some jobs require either steam or plant-killing liquids. Unless you have good sewer drainage and no plants in the vicinity we’d recommend using steam.

After cleaning, we can also seal bricks, tiles and concrete against oil, grease and dirt. We also offer colour staining and sealing to preserve wood.

Our Hard Floor Care Services

We restore and maintain all types of hard flooring including wood (oak, maple, ash etc), marble / stone, vinyl (planks or sheets) and lino. We regularly carry out bigger cleaning jobs in factories, sports, leisure and shopping centres, but we do also provide hard floor maintenance in domestic properties and smaller commercial venues.

This Coulsdon after-school club floor was damaged, with engrained dirt starting to work its way into the material: scrubbing showed just how badly stained it had become. Once clean, the vinyl was sealed with two coats of polish. Although shiny, the polish is formulated to offer reliable footing.

Professional Hardwood Floor Cleaning & Polishing

Even the toughest hardwood floor can look faded or grey in busy areas if dirt and scuffs are allowed to build up on the surface. A badly neglected floor will eventually need restoration in the form of sanding, but this can be avoided if it is waxed (or polished) at the right intervals, and buffed reasonably regularly to quickly remove light dirt and restore a rich, non-slip shine.

Deep cleaning an Oak panel entrance hall in a Mitcham family home: chemical stripping gets rid of the cardboard-like colour and restores the natural sandy-coloured grain, which was then protected by buffing.

Marble, Slate & Stone: Cleaning, Buffing/Polishing

We clean, enhance, preserve and refinish all kinds of stone floors, from natural rock such as marble, granite or slate to man-made materials including glazed ceramic tile.

An unglazed and unsealed ceramic tile floor in a residential kitchen in Coulsdon is deep cleaned, and a multi-purpose floor seal is then applied and buffed to a smooth finish.
