Carpet & Floor Cleaners in Wandsworth & Putney

Our local coverage in and around the Wandsworth (SW18) & Putney (SW15) areas also includes nearby Putney Heath, Roehampton & Wandsworth Common.

For Your Business or Home

Because we use heavy-duty commercial machines we can service bigger contracts for larger firms in factories or warehouses, council buildings, sports clubs and leisure centres, churches, mosques and temples. We do also provide carpet and floor maintenance for domestic properties and smaller commercial venues. This is where having top of the line equipment pays off: we can deep clean your house or flat and leave it fresh and dry in a surprisingly short time.

A Professional Carpet Care Service

Even the best quality carpeting needs to be properly treated on a regular basis to stay fresh and springy underfoot. Call us to turn the clock back on your carpet’s appearance with our expert deep cleaning, stain removal and odour neutralisation services. What’s best for your carpets: hot water extraction, steam or shampooing? Find out here.

Our carpet cleaning machinery includes:

  • motorised ‘Power Wand’ attachment – for the most effective dirt and stain removal;
  • variable pressure cleaning – up to 400 PSI for tough cleaning without damaging delicate fibres;
  • very long (30m/100ft) hose – we can clean many properties without bringing our machine any further than just inside/outside;
  • 52 litre solution & 40 litre dirty water tanks – less filling and emptying, even on large jobs;
  • powerful suction for faster drying – dual motors for standard/delicate or double/industrial strength extraction.

Dark patchy stains (whether from spills that have attracted more dirt than usual, or the residue of amateur carpet cleaning) can all be removed quickly with our powerful equipment.

WoolSafe-approved Detergents for Cleaning, Sanitising & Disinfecting

We’ve been cleaning carpets since 1995 – and we’ve also supplied detergents to many of our competitors during that time. You name the fabric: we know what works, and what doesn’t.

Professional Upholstery & Furniture Cleaning

Even tough stains and soiling on furniture (tea/coffee, red wine, urine, smoke and mildew) can be tackled quickly with our specialist equipment and effective liquids. We’re also well-versed in cleaning leather, viscose, silk and other uncommon upholstery fabrics, having tested all the popular products from all the major manufacturers. If you need to neutralise contagious or life-threatening bugs and germs then we have a range of treatments available.

Our Advice is to Avoid Steam Cleaning or (Dry) ‘Shampooing’

What items of clothing or household fabrics do you boil wash? Super-heated water vapour will have a drastic effect on your upholstery. Powder compounds (commonly called ‘shampoos’) retain dirt in order to do their job. Since it is impossible to remove every last trace after cleaning (as can be done with hot water extraction), your furniture will get soiled again at a faster rate.

Driveway & Patio Washing

We clean patios and decking, drives, paving and brickwork to leave an attractive, non-slip surface by removing the staining, soiling and dirt created by dead leaves and plants.

If we can, we’ll use the green options: scrubbing and cold water blasting only, or boil washing (which is very effective but requires special equipment). We can also use strong acids or alkalis (e.g. bleach) to kill and break down mature plants, but in our opinion this is really only suitable for built up areas where there are no plant nearby that you want to keep.

You might not think that concrete needs protecting from water, but it is permeable (albeit far less so than wood). Our treatments will delay natural wear and tear on your outside hard surfaces.

Hard Floor Care & Maintenance

We look after and restore all types of hard floors: marble and other types of stone, oak and other hardwoods, vinyl (plank or sheets) and lino. Our range of professional, high quality equipment means we’re most often contracted to clean larger buildings like gyms, hotels, schools or restaurants. However we’re always happy to attend smaller business premises, shared accommodation and residential properties.

The pattern on the vinyl tile for this busy shop with office behind helps to disguise problem areas – up to a point. We machine-scrubbed using fairly soft bristles but an extremely effective degreaser. After removing the released dirt with our wet vac, the floor was then sealed with two coats of polish to guard against damage as well as enhance and deepen the colour.

Professional Hardwood Floor Cleaning & Polishing

Wood, if treated correctly, will make a durable but also attractive floor. The key is to ensure that it has a water-proof (or at least water resistant) seal in place and in good condition, and there are two mutually exclusive choices here. Which is right for you will depend on how busy the area is and the type of wear and tear the hardwood takes. We offer services from simple buffing / cleaning to full restoration, so please do consult with us about your options.

This engineered Oak kitchen / diner floor had lost its natural honey colour over time: the true extent of the fading only made clear once the old varnish was removed. A lighter seal was then applied and buffed.

Marble, Slate & Stone: Cleaning, Buffing/Polishing

We provide professional cleaning and maintenance services (including polishing, buffing and sealing) for all kinds of stone floors, including marble, slate, terrazzo, ceramic tile and granite.

A white ceramic kitchen floor: the tiles are unglazed, so the slightly porous material was slowly absorbing dirt, which we removed with a strong degreaser and a rotary machine. To keep the tiles cleaner for longer we then worked a waterproof seal into the surface.
